Emily Carr alumni Polly Gibbons ('97), Connie Sabo ('03), and Debbie Tuepah ('11) along with Rhys Edwards have formed a new curatorial collective, AgentC Projects. As part of the Newton PopUp project, The City of Surrey has sponsored AgentC Project's first space, AgentC Gallery. Newton Popup is a cultural initiative working to bring business and communitiy closer though improved safety, quailty of life and engagment in the Newton Town Centre. AgentC's first show, Gross Density Parcel, runs in conjunction with the Day of Drawing Collective and Newton POP UP, July 23rd to October 1st 2015.

Gross Density Parcel is an investigation into the recent history of Surrey via a creative intervention into a formerly vacant property located in the White Rock area. Ten established and emerging local artists have created original films, sculptures, photographs, and multi-media installations based on the documentation and collection of nature specimens and manufactured detritus left at the site after its former owner vacated the lot years ago.

Now to be developed once more, the property has since become a parable for the City of Surrey itself: a region which enthusiastically orients itself toward the future, yet does so on the condition of remaining in a state of perpetual development. Gross Density Parcel is an exploration into the role that creative memory plays in the construction of the future.

Gross Density Parcel features works by Roxanne Charles, Cora Li-Leger, Don Li-Leger, Aaron S. Moran ('07), Helma Sawatzky ('09), Rosemary Burden ('11), Polly Gibbons ('97), Carlyn Yandle ('10), Paul Bucci, and Andrew Keech. The exhibit, curated by Debbie Tuepah ('11) and Rhys Edwards, is the first project from AgentC Projects, a new curatorial collective dedicated to providing opportunities for emerging curators to showcase critical, rigorous artworks on a temporary basis.
