The Library and Archives enables research, learning, and innovation by providing unique collections, a welcoming dynamic space, responsive services and professional knowledgeable staff.
  • The Library will be closed on Monday, May 23, for Victoria Day.

  • The Library catalogue is being updated over the weekend and will be unavailable from Saturday, May 21st at 9pm until Tuesday, May 24th at 5am. This includes the ability to place holds and renewals. The article databases will still be available. Sorry for any inconvenience!

  • During Grad Show, May 8 - 22, the Library will be open:

    Monday - Friday 9am - 8pm
    Saturday + Sunday 10am - 6pm

    The Library is exhibiting a number of works by this year's graduates, so please come by and check them out!

  • The Student Publication retrospective Who is Woo? features a selection of publications that define the student life of Emily Carr University of Art + Design over the past 90 years. The exhibition will celebrate the artistic works and publications created by past students.

    Come visit the library to interact and explore the rich history of Emily Carr and creativity of the students.
