Reciprocal Borrowing

Reciprocal borrowing amongst BC public post-secondary institutions is available to all currently enrolled BC public post-secondary credit students, staff and faculty.

Emily Carr University Students, Staff & Faculty

If you are an Emily Carr University credit student, staff or faculty member you have borrowing privileges at other BC college and university libraries.  Please note, all items must be returned directly to the library you borrowed them from.

To register for a card you'll need to bring your current Emily Carr University ID card. Students will need the current semester sticker on the back of their card and may also be required to show proof of current enrolment. Staff and faculty will need to bring proof of current employment. All borrowers will need to provide proof of current address. We recommend that you contact the library you would like to borrow from and inquire about registering as a reciprocal borrower before going there so you know what documents to bring with you.

Students, Staff & Faculty From Other BC Post-Secondary Institutions

If you are a credit student, staff or faculty from a BC college or university you have borrowing privileges at the Ron Burnett Library + Learning Commons. As a Reciprocal Borrower you will be given Community Borrower level borrowing privileges. Please note, all items must be returned directly to the Ron Burnett Library + Learning Commons.

To register for an Emily Carr University Library card you'll need to bring your current post-secondary ID card (proof of current registration or employment is required if not clearly stated on card) as well as proof of current address.
