Library Computer Use Policy
Emily Carr University Library Computer Use Policy
Computers in the Emily Carr University Library are designed to provide our students, faculty and staff with access to library catalogues, databases, computer applications, scanners, and printers in order to help them meet the objectives of their studies, research or job-related tasks.
Priority use of all library computers is reserved for Emily Carr students, faculty and staff. Library users who are not members of the Emily Carr community may use the computers upon request. At certain times of day or at busy times of the school term, guests may be asked by library staff to vacate their computer so an Emily Carr community member can use it to complete their library or study related work.
There are two computers on the second floor to access the library catalogue.
Please note that all public computers are wiped clean on a daily basis. Please save your work to an outside source (i.e. USB drive, Google docs, email, etc.).
