PHOT 200: Photo Immersion: Analogue

This course will develop the visual, technical, and critical skills necessary to use black and white photographic materials, equipment, and processes effectively in the production of photographic art and extend the students explorations, within the medium. Through assignments, lectures, seminars, workshops, and critiques, students will also be introduced to the critical, historical and theoretical language necessary to discuss and formulate ideas within photography. Assignments and critical feedback will emphasize the development of individual areas of interest. This is a required course for Photography Majors.

Priority is given to PHOT students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
