Heather Caldwell is a painter and illustrator who recently returned to Canada after living in France for the past five years. While there, she wrote and illustrated a children’s book, exhibited internationally and taught at the International School of Monaco.  She received a Diploma in Illustration and Design from Capilano College and a BFA in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design where she is sessional faculty.  Having worked as an illustrator on regional and national campaigns for companies like Petro Canada, Mohawk Oil, 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, Canadian Figure Skating Association and the Vancouver Opera, her work can be seen on the cover of Applied Arts Magazine and in the Olympic Hall of Fame in Calgary.
