Collaborative Writing | A Talk with TV Writer + Poet Jennica Harper

Join us on Wednesday January 23 at 1 p.m. in the Writing Centre for a talk and discussion with Jennica Harper on collaborative writing. This presentation is part of WRTG 310 the *new* collaborative writing class at Emily Carr University in the Faculty of Culture and Community.

JENNICA HARPER Jennica Harper is an accomplished TV writer and producer. She is currently Showrunner and Co-Creator of the new prime time comedy series JANN, starring singer Jann Arden, which will premiere on CTV in Spring 2019. Before that Jennica was a writer and Co-Executive Producer on the second season of award-winning crime drama Cardinal (CTV/Hulu) as well as on the upcoming supernatural series The Order for Netflix.

Other recent credits include writer/Consulting Producer on both the ABC summer thriller Somewhere Between, and popular crime drama Motive (CTV/USA). Recent half-hour credits include youth comedies Some Assembly Required (YTV/Netflix), Mr. Young (YTV/Disney XD), and the tween adventure series Reboot: The Guardian Code. Jennica is the winner of a WGC Award for Screenwriting and a Leo Award, and she was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. She is also an award-winning poet with three published books, the most recent being Wood (Anvil Press, 2013). Her newest book, Bounce House, is forthcoming with Anvil Press in 2019.
