  • Beginning Thursday, October 1, there will no longer be any student storage on the Library's public computers. All files saved to Library computers will be deleted nightly. Please make sure you back up your work using other methods, like USB drives, cloud storage, or e-mail!

  • Tonight, September 24, from 6pm - 9pm there'll be a party in the library with Instant Coffee as they launch the 6th issue of GOOD NEWS after a two week residency in the Mezzanine Gallery. Warning: it won't be a good night for quiet study, but it will be a good night to take a study break.

  • The artist collective Instant Coffee, as part of a two week residency at Emily Carr University’s Library, will publish Issue #6 of GOOD NEWS.

GOOD NEWS is a small handmade journal produced on the occasion of an event and typically based on one question as a responsive forum. The journal is often assembled in public and produced under tight time constraints, leaving the collective to scramble for content, material and fabrication. For this issue Instant Coffee will develop its theme on the Emily Carr University Campus and use the studio facilities to produce it.
