Robin Mitchell-Cranfield
Bio
Robin Mitchell Cranfield is an illustrator and graphic designer. Her studio, hundreds & thousands, specializes in fine book design for contemporary art galleries and for children.
Robin’s print design has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Alcuin Awards for excellence in book design, Applied Arts’ AACE Awards, and featured in How Magazine’s International Design Awards Issue.
Her series of apps, produced with Judith Steedman, have been honoured as iTunes Editor's Choice, Parent's Choice seal of approval, and the iKids awards. She is currently working on a book about patterns in nature for Greystone Books.
Robin has been teaching at Emily Carr since 2011. She has addressed the Adobe Max Education Summit on the future of digital publishing and served as Visiting Professor for the Masters of Publishing program at Simon Fraser University.
