Scott is an Industrial Designer and Educator based in Vancouver and an alumnus of Emily Carr University. Prior to pursuing his ID degree at Emily Carr, he worked for many years as a technician within the automotive industry for Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, and Honda, and now enjoys applying his mechanical expertise – tempered by a critical social sensibility – to a wide range of design and teaching challenges. These have included the design and manufacture of mobility products for disabled users, the development of refuse and recycling strategies for local municipalities, and the creation of new brand identities and products. A passion for cycling, travel, food, and photography continually informs and inspires his design practice.
