Ravi Jackson was born in 1985 in Santa Barbara, California, USA. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California. In 2016 he completed his MFA at the University of California, Los Angeles and he also holds a BFA from Hunter College in New York. He makes paintings and sculptures that attempt to negotiate various American narratives on race, sexuality, and popular culture. Recent exhibitions include Positioner at Matthew Marks and solo show Ice on Soul at Richard Telles Fine Art.
