Developing on fundamental skills introduced in CEDA 100 Introduction to Web Design, this course delves into desirable skills for the modern web designer. Topics include modern JavaScript, advanced selectors, flexbox layout, preprocessors, transitions & animation, CSS blend modes, and more. At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to effectively create responsive, complex web applications.

Essential Items

* Visual Studio Code + Google Chrome
* MAMP: a free, local server environment. It provides all the
tools needed to run WordPress on a desktop or laptop for testing
or development purposes. It can be installed under macOS and
Windows with just a few clicks. Please download and install on
your computer.
* XAMPP: a free and open-source cross-platform web server
solution stack package. Please download and install on your
computer.
* Adobe CC (Recommended)

For certain online course which require Adobe software, students
are responsible for purchasing their own software for course.
Trial versions of the software are sometimes available on the
company website, but at this time there are no discounts
available for Continuing Studies students. (Estimated cost: US
$20/month)
