CEFA 101 SU02: 3D Materials + Media

In this course, you will explore the relationship between ideas, materials, media and context, and how these are used to create 3D objects. Both traditional and unconventional materials and processes will be employed in exercises and projects. Topics include: space, mass, volume, plane and texture, as well as how these elements can be manipulated, through your choice of materials.

Please bring the following supplies to class:
* Any drawing tools you have already (charcoal, pencils, pens,
markers, inks)

* 2 a paint brush (anything you have already)
* 1 sketchbook
* 1 1" masking tape
* 1 scissors (if you have already)
* 1 utility x-acto knife 

* household recyclables (plastic, tubes, paper plates bottles,
tinfoil, plastic forks, containers etc.)
* several found objects that aren't too precious (to be

* 1 bamboo kitchen skewers (many in a package)
* 1 needle and white thread
