In this course, you will explore the relationship between ideas, materials, media and context, and how these are used to create 3D objects. Both traditional and unconventional materials and processes will be employed in exercises and projects. Topics include: space, mass, volume, plane and texture, as well as how these elements can be manipulated, through your choice of materials.

* Approx. 40 - 50 sheets Paper (printer or other inexpensive and
or sketchbook)
* Cardboard (found or home-sourced)
* 8 Selection of drawing materials (pens, pencil crayons, pencils
etc.)
* 2-3 Black felt markers + coloured markers
* 1 X-acto Knife
* 1 White glue
* 1 roll String (such as butcher's cord or other home-sourced)
* 1 roll Wire, any kind (home sourced)
* 1 pkg Polymorph Thermoformable pellets (also known as "Friendly
Plastic" pellets), small bag (up to 50g), available online
