CEID 122 SU01: Basics of Architectural Design

This studio course introduces you to the design process as it applies to architecture and architectural space. Through idea generation, sketch models, proposal research and presentation and modeling techniques, you will interpret your ideas architecturally as you also explore the locational, contextual and structural aspects of architectural design. You will also work on a site-specific design project individually and in teams.

Instructor information: 
Please bring the following supplies to class:
* 2 1/8" non archival standard foamcore - White, cut in 1/2 for
* 1 small blade Olfa type with snap off blades, appox. 1/4", not
a large box cutter
* 1 11x13" 1 set of 5 sheets poster board (hard), white
* 1 metal ruler with cork back
* 1 Bottle of glue

**Bring note-taking pad, pen/pencil for first class**
