CEPH 221: The Constructed Image

A constructed image is a photo-based image that has been altered through the use of digital manipulation, drawing, painting or collage to create a specific visual experience. In this course, you will investigate classic themes from art history and reinterpret them through the combination of analog and digital processes. You will learn advanced Photoshop tools and techniques that you can apply to making work that is cleverly constructed and conceptually compelling. Note: This course is Mac lab-based and does not involve darkroom techniques.
