CEPR 107: Introductory Stone Lithography

Lithography involves drawing and painting images directly onto polished stones to print gestural editions on paper. Using lithographic pencils, crayons, inks, tusche, and specially designed presses and papers, students will engage in lithography's unique processes to create dynamic compositions. This alchemic traditional print process will be explored within contemporary contexts, giving students the opportunity to engage in exciting and applicable lithographic techniques.
