DESN 212: Drawing: Developing Concepts

For the designer, drawing is more than a medium of expression; it is a method for exploring, planning and communicating ideas. This course focuses on the development of design concepts by means of drawing and introductory illustration techniques. Students learn to explore and visualize their ideas rapidly, translating rough sketches into comprehensive images that illustrate their intentions effectively. Projects enable students to transform promising concepts through an iterative process that results in illustrations for presentations or precursors to final realization.

Priority is given to COMD, INDD and INTD students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
