GSMA 512: Grad Interdisciplinary Forum

The Graduate Interdisciplinary Forum is a unique opportunity to work across the disciplines of design, visual and media arts. Students will be actively engaged with a dynamic series of guest speakers from various fields. Working in small, interdisciplinary groups, students will respond to real world issues through dialogue, research and practice resulting in creative collaboration. The course provides students access to and interaction with a variety of guest artists, designers, and academics as well as current ECUAD faculty and senior graduate students. The classes will be presented in a variety of formats from workshops and discussions to artist talks and lectures. Students will be expected to engage with the guests and issues presented in the classroom and are required to develop a group presentation that responds to a topical issue.
