As the Senior Sales Associate, you are passionate about building long-term relationships with key clients and inspiring your distributors and sales representatives to hit sales goals and increase market share. The primary responsibilities in this role are to strategize, implement and achieve the targeted sales growth plans for the company, while assisting ownership in building relationships with new and established distributors and sales representatives in Canada, the US and worldwide. With a flair for fashion, you know how to inspire customers to feel good with AinslieWear.


  • Participate in the development of sales targets, plans and marketing strategies alongside the Senior Leadership Team at strategy sessions
  • Work directly with distributors and sales representatives worldwide to develop annual business/travel plans for their territories, setting performance metrics for each representative, reviewing performance results on a quarterly basis and suggesting performance improvements as necessary
  • Stay current with new product launches and ensure distribution and sales representatives are receiving adequate product and policy training
  • Personally maintain existing and establish new productive and professional relationships with key accounts worldwide
  • Coordinate sales activities with online sales
  • Provide quotes on large orders and programs
  • Identify and implement strategies to increase profitability and the customer experience
  • Stay current on market knowledge of competitors, and inform Senior Management of any changes to competitor’s sales initiatives or marketing strategies
  • Set up and maintain a reporting system to evaluate sales performance, predictive sales indicators and provide management sales information and analysis.
  • Act as an “issue escalation” contact for Sales Representatives
  • Attend trade shows across NA and Europe as applicable to represent the AinslieWear brand


  • 3 to 5 years’ prior working experience in related sales roles
  • Experience in USA wholesale fashion markets considered an invaluable asset – a dance background is not a necessity
  • Experience setting up and managing trade shows
  • Strong relationship building, negotiating and listening skills
  • Mastery in dealing with and understanding numbers, ratios and key performance indicators
  • Strong team leadership and training skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled with Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 15% to meet with distributors, sales representatives and key clients

Compensation based on experience, and includes a salary base and commission.
