The Cash Management Group at Raymond James Ltd. is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our high-performing team of finance professionals. In addition to photography, video, and mad social media skills, the Marketing Assistant will contribute to the development of online email campaigns and content writing for our monthly newsletters, sales material and more. 

This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role that will work closely with our current Marketing Specialist. 

You will get to: 

 Create, produce, and monitor digital marketing campaigns on a variety of platforms; 

 Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to write effective content for multiple channels: email, website, blog, sales team, social media / digital ads, video, and print; 

 Assist the sales team with marketing material; 

 Create visually appealing infographics, brochures, and presentations; 

 Film and edit videos using our in-house equipment and software; 

 Master managing multiple projects without comprising quality or your creative edge; and 

 Other duties as assigned. 


To nail this role, you should: 

 Possess an undergraduate/bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, communications, design or related field; 

 Have a passion for videography and can plan, film, and edit videos from start-to-finish using Adobe Premier; 

 Present yourself in a polished appearance in a formal business environment; 

 Have the ability to articulate clearly in both written and verbal settings with impeccable attention to detail; 

 Get excited about design and be forward-thinking in your approach; 

 Be a writing guru: research, write, and edit copy like no body’s business; and 

 Eat, think, and tweet all things social media and digital marketing, including but not limited to: Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. 


Bonus Points: 

 You know Adobe Premier like the back of your hand; 

 Have experience using ConstantContact and SiteFinity / SquareSpace or other website templates; 

 Previous background / experience in finance-related field; and 

 Additional graphic design experience with Adobe Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Indesign) or similar software.

 This is a full-time position out of our downtown Vancouver office;
