Request Transcripts

Transcripts are available to current students and alumni. Official transcripts include the student's complete academic record at Emily Carr. These records are confidential and can only be released with a written request from the student accompanied with payment.

Students with a financial hold will not be able to order transcripts. Please contact Financial Services at finance@ecuad.ca regarding payment for outstanding fees.

Cost (per transcript)

NOTICE:  Only unofficial electronic transcripts will be available for ordering at this time due to COVID-19.  Please include your contact e-mail on your order form.  No transcripts are available for pick-up, faxing or mailing.  If you require your transcript to be sent to another institution, please include the institution's e-mail information on your order form.

***Please also note that as we are issuing official transcripts free-of-charge at this time, all orders will be limited to five official transcripts per student per semester.

Prices are in Canadian funds. Please note that Emily Carr does not offer express post or courier services.

  • Regular printing (3-5 days) to be picked-up: $10.00
  • Regular printing (3-5 days) to be mailed: $15.00
  • Rush printing (24 hours) to be mailed or picked up: $20.00

*Please note:  All mail is sent out via regular Canada Post according to their current delivery standards.  We do not offer express post or courier service and mail is not assigned tracking numbers.  The University is not responsible for the physical delivery of mail once it has been sent out from the campus.

Degree Program Transcript Requests

Questions regarding Degree Program transcript requests can be directed to Records + Registration at reghelp@ecuad.ca.

Payment must be made at the time of your request. Please note that we do not accept phone requests.

If your transcript is being ordered or picked up by someone other than yourself, they must have your written and signed authorization.

Order transcripts online 

Current students and alumni who used myEC during their studies can order transcripts online through myEC. Please note transcripts ordered online will be charged at $15/transcript and will be mailed out to the address provided within 3 to 5 days.

Order transcripts in-person, by e-mail, by fax or by mail

If you do not submit your transcript request online through myEC, you will have to submit a written Transcript Request Form, available below or in Student Services.  You may also fill in an electronic PDF form and e-mail your completed form to Records + Registration at reghelp@ecuad.ca.

When submitting your request by fax, please email us at reghelp@ecuad.ca to confirm that your request was received - please note that we are only on campus once a week until further notice.

Transcript Request Status

Students with a myEC account can check on the status of their transcript request online. Log in to myEC and go to the Student Menu. Click on the Transcript Request Status link under the Academic Profile heading. This includes requests that were made by submitting the Transcript Request form.

Continuing Studies Transcript Requests

Continuing Studies students can order transcripts by filling in a Transcript Request Form and submitting it in-person, by fax or by mail. If you have questions regarding your request, please contact the Continuing Studies Office at csinfo@ecuad.ca.

Payment Options

Replacement Degree Parchment

Alumni from the undergraduate and graduate programs can order a replacement degree parchment by filling in a Degree Parchment Replacement Request Form and submitting it in person, by fax or by mail. We do not accept phone or e-mail requests. The cost is $50.00. Please allow six to eight weeks for processing.
