CEIL 300: Anatomical Illustration

This course is designed for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge of human anatomy. Working with a live model each class, you will study anatomical features, proportions and analyze details of the human body, using various drawing and illustration techniques and methods. Through lectures, demonstrations and exercises, you will also learn the basics of both artistic and scientific anatomical terminology. This course focuses on realistic studies of the figure, using various techniques and historic examples of anatomical illustration.

Prerequisites: 

CEDR 160 Drawing Fundamentals I, CEIL 170 Introduction to Illustration, or equivalent
