CEDR 261: Drawing the Figure and Face

This course will teach you how to construct thehuman form without relying on a model. By helpingyou develop an 'internal model' using basicanatomical proportions, gesture, contour andshading, you will have a stronger understandingof proportion and construction of the head andfigure, the drawing and mapping of facialfeatures, hands and feet, and understanding oftypical standing, walking and seated poses. Thiscourse will be of special interest for anyone whoneeds to draw scale figures, whether to use indesign, illustration, animation or any otherartistic form.

Prerequisites: 

CEDR 160 Drawing Fundamentals I or equivalent is recommended, but not required.
